Mrs. Stinchcomb was born October 17, 1926 in Baltimore, Md to the late Dr. D Edgar and Celeste Kirkley Fay.
She attended Cathedral and Western High school in Baltimore City.
She was the first female sales engineer for AT & T. She also worked in the Baltimore Colts front office.
She performed volunteer work for several organizations including the YWCA Abuse Spouse Program. She was a docent for the William Paca House in Annapolis.
Her hobbies included knitting, bowling and sailing.
Survivors include three sons, Bruce D. Macmillan (Rosemary), John H. Macmillan, Col (Ret) Douglas R. Macmillan (Katie), one daughter, Celeste K. Connor; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was pre deceased by one son, Lonzo R. Davis III.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at St Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 1601 Pleasant Plains Road in Annapolis.
