Cheryl Karen Aisquith-Wallace, 70, of Edgewater, Maryland passed away on the evening of February 22nd, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Carl and Lorraine Bast, May 22nd, 1950, in Annapolis, Maryland.
Cheryl graduated from Annapolis Senior High School in 1968, and lived her life as a bus-driver as well as a bus contractor who loved her job deeply and was equally beloved by those in her community.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Bruce Aisquith and later married James Wallace in August of 2010 and is survived by two daughters: Shannon Perez, of Denton; and Sharon Aisquith, of Grasonville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Josh, Brett, Chey (whom is pregnant with Cheryl’s first great-grandson), Kylie, Ciarra, Jaryde, Kaidon (deceased), Leiyah, Troy and all of those whom knew her affectionately by the name of ‘Nana'.
Cheryl was often found in her sewing room making clothing, costumes and crafts for her friends, children and grandchildren or outside gardening throughout her life. She also enjoyed bowling, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and spent much time at her and her husband’s cabin in the mountains of West Virginia as well as feeding the deer that visited their backyard. She also loved to watch it snow and her collection of snowmen.
Viewing ceremonies will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, as well as from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at John M. Taylor Funeral home. On February 28th, the following day, a Funeral Service will be held at the same location at noon, followed by her burial at Hill Crest Memorial Gardens.
