

Connie Lamb Jones, 71, of Annapolis, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2025, after a long battle with lung cancer. Born on June 18th 1954 in Annapolis, Connie was the daughter of the late Eula Grey Sears and Elvin Lawrence Sears. She was preceded in death by her brother Elvin Arlen Sears and her sister Joan Anne Martin.
Connie's life was one of resilience devotion and warmth. She spent her entire life in Annapolis, where she built a reputation for her exceptional cooking and hospitality. Her home was a gathering place for friends and family could come and share and laughter and conversation.
Connie retired from the Maryland MVA. She took great pleasure in her home and taking care of her dogs. Connie enjoyed listening to '60s R&B classics and always look forward to summer time and the tradition of eating steamed crabs on her deck.
Connie is survived by her husband Carl Thomas Jones of Annapolis and her son Edward Lawrence Lamb of Annapolis.
Visitation will be held at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401, on December 18, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on December 19, 2025, at 10:00 am. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032.
