In 1999, she married Ted Anderson and moved to Annapolis a year later. Together they raised their two children, Katie, 16 and Matthew, 13, in the family-friendly Annapolis community she so loved. I was stunned to hear that Cindy had passed away at the tender age of 51. I had the pleasure of working closely with her for several years at Ciena - Cindy was the best accountant I've ever worked with and I learned so much from her. Her laugh was infectious and her attitude was always positive and upbeat - she was a great person. Please accept my deepest condolences. Rest in peace Cindy.

I remember how much she welcomed me as a new Mom to the Key Community. She was so vibrant and at the same time so grounded for the benefit of the children. I am so saddened to feel she has moved on and we will not have the benefit of her knowledge and love.
She was very straightforward in her engagement, but wanted everyone to feel comfortable. I have an explicit memory of our first meeting at the bowling alley for my daughter’s class. It isn’t fair to remove someone with such love and potential to reach others. I can only hope to meet her example. May your family find love and comfort during this time.

I can not express how sad I was to hear this news. Cindy and I were the greatest of friends growing up, from elementary into high school. I will always treasure the good memories and adventures we had together.
My heart goes out to her family. May you find peace, and be surrounded by love.

I am one of many high school friends of Cindy who is stunned and distraught to learn of her passing. We ran track together in high school and she was an excellent sprinter and captain . We shared many laughs and silly moments with our gang. She was a great friend. We share in the sorrow and the wonderful memories of our time together.
