He died at the age of 81. Donald passed away surrounded by his loved ones. He will be greatly missed.
Don trained and owned thoroughbred horses, was a Police Officer for Anne Arundel County, worked as a Sales Manager for Genderson Chevrolet and Koons Ford, and went on to own Zelko’s Glass Annapolis Lock & Key, and he held several offices including President for the Lion’s Club.
Predeceased by his brother Carville, his father Carville, his mother Bessie, and his loving wife Patricia. He is survived by his daughter Sandy (Tim) Burns of NC, son Chris (Cheryl) of FL, and daughter Sheryl (Gordon) Merritt of Severna Park, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A memorial gathering will take place on November 30th at John M. Taylor Funeral Home from 5-7 pm with a memorial service following at 7:00 pm in the Taylor Chapel, 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401.
