Dear Sally and Bob and Rachel and Eric:

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a lovely lady. I admire her for being such an independent woman!

I will always remember her hospitality to Bob and I and our children. I will remember picking vegetables and fruit from her garden on Bywater Drive and then making fried tomatoes! A girl from Brooklyn never saw that! I will remember going to the Orioles game that summer day with a bucket of fried chicken!

But most of all, her kindness and generosity. She was a wonderful person. We will miss her Christmas notes but will never forget her.

You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Love you all,

Ann and Bob
