Eleanor Doran Cooper, 83, a resident of Annapolis, passed away on February 18, 2018 surrounded by her children. Eleanor known to her family and friends as Buttercup grew up in Epping Forest with her parents the late Eleanor Harrison Doran and John Leo Doran and her brothers Jack and Mark Doran. During her childhood Eleanor loved swimming in the Severn River.
Eleanor graduated from Annapolis High School in 1952 and Married Norval F. Cooper, Jr. in 1954.
Eleanor is survived by her five children: Theresa (John) Kaufman, Karen (Dale) Thompson, Norval F. Cooper III, Donna (George) Askew and Kevin Cooper; ten grandchildren: Liza and Jaci Hollidayoke, Joshua, Katie and Matthew Thompson, Sean and Trevor (Jenny) Cooper, Megan, Tyler and Erik Askew; four great-grandchildren; two nephews and a niece.
Eleanor hobbies included gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She will be so dearly missed. A memorial service will be private.
