Elizabeth Cayce Charbonneau, 96, relative of Psychic Edgar Cayce, long-time resident of St. Petersburg, FL and recent resident of Ginger Cove, Annapolis, MD, passed away peacefully, February 26. Born in Spartanburg, S. Carolina, “Liz” was the epitome of a beautiful southern belle who charmed her war-time love and husband of 59+ years, Col. C.K. Charbonneau. Together they travelled the globe and golfed in all four corners. Her passion for the sport made Liz a champion many times over. Of all the exotic places they lived and visited, one of the highlights was the five years spent in Madrid, Spain. There they hosted the then Prince Juan Carlos and were guests of El Generalisimo Franco at his summer palace. Survivors include her brother, Reid Cayce; three daughters, Camille Hopkinson, Annapolis, MD; Celleste Charbonneau, Delray Beach, FL; Deirdre Burton, Annapolis, MD; a son, Robert Charbonneau; five grandchildren, Chris Hopkinson, Traci Hopkinson, Sarah Burton and twins Lauren Watson and Mary Burton; and four grant grandchildren, Olivia, Emma and Miles Hopkinson and Andrew Watson. Burial will take place at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida.
