Harley Edward Coleman

Born July 31, 1928, Harley was the son of the late Moody and Ora Coleman.

He was a retired employee of the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center.

Beloved husband of the late Thressa Juanita Coleman he is survived by 2 daughters, Jody Jallepalli (J.T) and Joannie Coleman-Casey of Gambrills, 1 grandaughter, Kirti Jallepalli of Gambrills, 2 sisters, Sylvia Slaughter of Bel Springs, VA and Connie Saunders of Newport News, VA, 4 brothers Ralph Coleman of Doran, VA, Bill Coleman of Doran, VA, Michael Coleman of Honaker, VA and Buford Coleman of Swords Creek, VA.

Harley enjoyed gardening and sharing the bounty with his family and friends. He loved to bowl and treasured the time spent with his friends at Greenway Bowl.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on July 14, 2023 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Gambrills/Crofton. Interment will immediately follow in the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Annapolis prior to 4pm July 13, 2023. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on this website for the Coleman family.
