

Born in New York City on 30 October 1938, John served as an officer in the U. S. Navy in Point Mugu, California at the Pacific Missile Range and dedicated his professional life to the defense industry as a marketing executive for Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman Corporation.
John liked to travel internationally with family, he loved listening to music, and he particularly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a terrific sense of humor, sang in the choir at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Annapolis, MD, and participated in volunteer activities at St. Mary’s during his retirement years. In addition, John was a gifted public speaker and talented writer.
John is survived by his wife, Jean, of sixty years and sons Kevin (Rebecca), Jeff, and Greg. He will be missed as a devoted husband, father, and friend.
A visitation for John will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4 to 6 PM at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, Maryland 21401. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 9:00 AM in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment Our Lady of the Fields Cemetery, 1070 Cecil Ave S, Millersville, MD 21108.
