Judy was truly a precious gift to us from God.
Judy gave us love and joy, she was filled with child like wonder and enthusiasm. She loved dancing, “car dates”, fairytales and princesses.
Judy taught us empathy, compassion, gentleness, gratitude, patience and love. She taught us that although we often complicate it with injustices both real and perceived, life is very simple. Ask for a hug when you need one, help someone when you can and be grateful for everything.
Judy was predeceased by her mother, Lucille Fisher, brothers, William Monday and Charles Fisher and sister Margaret Jamar.
She is survived by her sister Ella Gentile, her brother, Boyd Monday, her niece and devoted caregiver, Linda Nichols, nieces Sherry Gore, Charleen Lohman and Chara Gentile and many great nieces and nephews who adored her.
Judy’s simple acts of kindness brought much relief into an often, unkind world. She was loved beyond measure and her absence will be profound.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Special Olympics of Maryland in Judith’s name.www.somd.org
