June Jensen Burggraf was born and raised in Eastport where she lived most of her 93 years. Known as "Miss June" ready with smile and positive attitude despite the death of her dear husband at an early age, leaving her with 3 young children to raise on her own. Later she worked as a caregiver helping many with her infectious humor. June kept up with the news and prided herself a local; regaling many with the history of "Old Eastport". Until recently she loved to get out and socialize at Adams Ribs where she was well known. Her memory was sharp, she remembered your name and even your grandkids names. She will be missed by many. Her oldest son passed leaving behind son Eric and daughter Helene, who tended to her in these last years.
