Dear Dr. Andersen,
Alan & I were so shocked and saddened when we heard the news of Lori's passing.
Our hearts go out to you and your girls and all your family.
Although we have only seen Lori (and you) 2 times, each time she made us feel so welcome that it seemed as if we had known each other for years.
She obviously was a special soul and as you must believe, is watching over you all now.
Continue to make her proud.

Dr. Anderson,
My heart goes out to you, Savannah, Erica and your families. Losing a loved one so suddenly can be devastating. Lori was a special person and every time I met her, she would say she remembered me because of her family member -Estelle. She made you feel as though you were a friend, even though you may have just met her.

My heart is saddened by Lori's loss. She was a high school classmate, and I feel so fortunate to have seen her at our recent reunion. She was so happy, bright and full of life - just as I remember her from our younger days. My deepest condolences to all of her family. I and many others will hold her in our hearts.

All of us who met Lori and worked in her sphere felt her goodness and influence, even those of us, like me, who did not know her well on a personal level. I remember back in the day when Health Coach trainings were held in a community center in Annapolis. I would often arrive early, having driven from Northern Virginia, and find Lori there by herself setting up the posters and signs in preparation for the training. Always down to earth and working hard, and with an open heart. I remember feeling so impressed by her manner and the genuine caring for others we all sensed in her. Such a tremendous loss for all who knew her. My heart and prayers are tender and hoping for peace for her family. I will remember her with love.

As a former Medifast/TSFL employee I had the pleasure of working with Lori. The passion she put in to what she loved was amazing. Her support of her husband, Dr. A is unmatched. She often walked in the shadows but she was a powerful force. You will be missed, my condolences to the family.

Dr. A,
Words are so inadequate for expressing the sadness I feel and the grief I feel for you , Savannah, Erica, and the rest of your family. Lori always made me feel so encouraged and never was too busy to help as I grew in Optavia. Always, she made herself available to come alongside and offer great support. She had a way of making me feel as valued as any other Health Coach. Thank you for sharing her with me and all the Optavia family, What a ripple effect her life has had and will continue to have.

There are no words to describe the total shock and devastation the we are all feeling. Our hearts are truly broken at the loss of a total icon of servant leadership. I am sure Lori had no idea how she impacted people on a very deep level. She truly is an angel from heaven and I guess they needed her back more than we did. Every single time I had the honor to spend time with her she treated me like she had known me all her life and I was super important to her. Her integrity and grace was so natural and true. She really did care about You will be missed so greatly and your legacy will continue on forever. Lori, we love you so much-you lived, loved and impacted millions of us - thank you so much!
To Dr. A , Savannah and Erica - When I think of Lori not physically being with us moving forward, life will never be the same, and I cannot begin to imagine the impact and loss the your family is going through. Our heart and prayers go out to you, may you gain comfort and strength by our love for you and family that surrounds you. Please know that your Optavia family is all out here lifting you all up for healing in the days ahead - you will always be surrounded with love!
