October 4, 1932May 10, 2018

Robert and Margaret Harder died within five days of one another.

Margaret Harder born Oct 10, 1932 died suddenly May 10, 2018 from a brain hemorrhage caused by stroke, while her husband Robert Edgar Nelson Harder, born August 15, 1938, lay in the intensive care unit of the hospital, brought in just five days earlier. Robert passed peacefully May 15, 2018. They are now by each other’s side once again. Bob & Peggy were both retired educators of the Washington DC and Prince George’s County school system, 24 year old residents of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis, MD., founding members of the Heritage Harbour Chorus and lifelong members of the Community of Christ.

Their love of others, zeal for life and fondness of their church family was evident in their lives. They are survived by only nieces and nephews and those who loved them.

A memorial service will be held in the afternoon of August 18, 2018 at 2pm at West River Retreat Center 5100 Chalk Point Road West River, Maryland 20778 during their churches annual church retreat and reunion. An invitation has been extended to any of Bob & Peggy’s friends or family whom wish to attend. For further information, please contact Florence Gubanc at

Peggy was a delightful and charming gal, always with a smile and a greeting for all. Her beautiful soprano voice, and her many acting talents in both the Heritage Harbour Chorus and the H.H. Drama Club endeared her to so many. You're sorely missed Peggy, and my prayers go out to your family.
