Mrs. Matilda L Quinton

Matilda L. Quinton “Tillie”, 89, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center, Crownsville. She was born June 8, 1927 to the late John A. and Anna McCord Kane in Pennsylvania. Tillie was a doting grandmother, baking and preparing meals for her grandchildren. She was always cleaning and straitening things. Her favorite saying was “there’s dirt, then there’s dirty dirt” She was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Quinton, Sr. and her daughter, Marie Quinton. She is survived by her children, Catherine Businsky, Barbara Henderson, Linda Henderson, James Quinton, Joseph Quinton, and Bonnie Gail Gibson; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. A funeral Service will be held 11:00am, Monday, October 10, 2016 at the John M Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis. The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8pm, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10-11am.
