

Born in Muro Lucano, Italy he immigrated to the United States in 1950. He was drafted into the Army and served during the Korean War. He served as a translator in Austria. Once he returned from the war, he went back to Italy to marry the love of his life, Josephine Cardillo in their Italian home town in December 1953.
Pat has been a resident of Annapolis for 75 years. Pat was the son of the late Antionette and Pasquale Cerone. Beloved father of Antionette “Toni” Dawson (Bill) of Oceanview, NJ and Patrick Cerone (Lisa) of Annapolis, MD. Grandfather of 6, and great-grandfather of 10. He was loved by his wife dearly, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat retired from the foundry at the USNA. He loved to read, build and repair anything and helping his children and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD on Monday May 12th from 8:30-9:30 AM. Mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD on Monday the 12th at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Annapolis, MD.
