Patricia Lynn Wagner

February 23, 1933September 8, 2020

Our Mom, Patricia Lynn Wagner, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Miriam Lynn; beloved wife of the late Clem Wagner, Jr.; devoted Mother of: Patti “Trish” Cloukey and her husband Clark, Deborah Wagner and her husband, Bud Iglehart, Edward Wagner, Judi Munroe and her husband Jim, Ron Wagner and his wife Cathy; dear sister of Art Lynn. Also survived are 9 Grandchildren: Erik Smith, Becca Lee, Eddi Wagner, Michel Wagner, Theresa Bradley, Amanda Webster, Meridith Unglesbee, Allisin Campbell, and Patrick Wagner and 17 great grandchildren: Stella, Opal & Harper Smith, Amelia & Adrienne Lee, Raelynn & Riley Wagner, Lynette & Clara Bradley, Briana & Hanna Webster, Andrew, Bailee & Cooper Unglesbee, Harper, Ruby & Whittley Campbell; aunt of Geoffrey Lynn and Arthur J. Lynn.

Our Mom was one of the strongest women we knew. Her sweet, kind and humorous disposition added to this supernatural strength. Mom’s devotion began with God, then to our Dad and then her family.

She held every position in the Women’s Ministry at Trinity Church. She was a member there 70 years. Her example of a Godly woman inspired many.

On a softer note.......Mom told us about a recent Dr's visit. The nurse went down the check list and asked: Do you drink.....No, Do you smoke.....NO, at which time Mom said .... and I try very hard not to cuss... Nurse: (laughing) asked so what do you do for fun chase men? Not skipping a beat Mom replied NO .... If I did that it would cause me to drink, smoke and cuss. She was very witty and she’d always beat you at Jeopardy.

We loved this dear, dear woman. We will miss you terribly Mom.

It's a tender moment in our lives; Faceless is Public Places; If you come to the Celebration; It will have all the heart and soul in our embraces.

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens 1911 Forest Drive Annapolis, Maryland 21401 on Friday September 18, 2020 at 1 PM. A Celebration of Life will occur after Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of a dear, loving, Trinity friend. I could always count on her seated at the same seat at every service. I could also count on a hug, and her asking about my wife Debbie. Trinity family has lost another soul to her heavenly father. God will lovingly receive her into eternity with HIM.

Hi Judi
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I always remember her from when we were at Rolling Knolls together. And even when we would occasionally see her around town when we were all much younger. She was always upbeat and humorous and never appeared to let anything get her down. Blessings to you and all of the Wagner family, thoughts and prayers during this transition.

Pat was at my first ever trip to Sandy Cove for a retreat. The music was very upbeat and I was standing next to her so we started basically patty caking with each other. It was great. Funny thing, we never forgot about it and every now and again we’d do it in church as a joke!! I loved your mom and am so sorry to hear of her passing. She is where she knew she’d be! Heaven has gained another beautiful soul!!

I knew Pat for many years, going back to the days we taught Sunday School together. She was a wonderful woman and good friend.
