Richard "Dick" Rockne Reynolds, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Annapolis, Maryland, on July 20, 2026. Born on April 22, 1939, in Washington, D.C., he was the beloved son of the late Edythe Mabel Swigert and George Edward Reynolds.
Dick grew up in Washington DC, graduating from Gonzaga College High School before earning his degree from the University of Detroit. A dedicated engineer and proud public servant, Dick spent his career using his talents to serve his community. Outside of his professional life, he was an avid fisherman and bicyclist.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Maureen M. Reynolds, and his three children, Richard R. Reynolds, Jr., Michael Reynolds, and Maria Reynolds. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
