Roger Rampolla

April 15, 2022, Good Friday, with family present.

Roger was born in New Hampshire November 10, 1945, to Theresa and Louis Rampolla. The family later moved to Yonkers, N.Y. There he attended Special Ed classes at the elementary school level. In 1973, he moved to Maryland with his mother to be near his sister, Carolyn.

For twenty-four years, Roger was a resident of Maryland Neighborly Networks and attended the Ardmore Enterprises day program. Roger had an extended family at Seminole Place. He loved his home and developed a very close relationship with his roommates and the staff. Dennis, Clinton and Roger were like brothers and the loving and caring staff will dearly miss him.

While residing at Neighborly Networks he enjoyed many activities in the area of College Park and Beltsville; cookouts, Family Nights out, International Day, etc. He always had fun! Roger loved to attend mass and would always say, “I said a prayer for you”.

Roger enjoyed football and his team was the Redskins. He loved bowling, cruising, dancing, music, and shopping. He was a kind, loving person and loved to socialize and greet everyone.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Schumaker, his Nephews, Stephen and spouse Pilar and Scott and spouse, Rachel Kapuschansky, Niece Cheryl Blasie and spouse Mario and great nephews, Connor and Anthony Blasie, and great nieces Arabella, Isabella, Katherine Claire, Alivia and Madeleine Kapuschansky.

A visitation for Roger will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM (with prayers at 6:00 pm) at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035.

After the services, friends are welcome to join the family at their residence for a reception.
