Anniston - Graveside services for Alice Christene Turner will be held at 2:00 Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville. Rev. Tom Bonds, her pastor at First Baptist Church DeArmanville will conduct the service.
Mrs. Turner died Monday, March 4, at RMC. She was 88 years old.
Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Luke H. Turner. She was a faithful Christian and served her Lord as a pastor's wife for eighteen years at Norwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Gary Youngblood; two stepsons, Hughey (Sandra) and Dewey Homesley. She leaves three grandchildren; Tina (Steve) Pennington, London Knight, and Brett (Leyanis) Youngblood; two great-grandsons, Jeremy (April) Pennington and Fernando Youngblood; three great-great grandchildren, Alexa, Kaitlyn, and Taylor Pennington.
