Alton is survived by his wife, Sandra Parris; his daughters Kimberley Parris; and Jennifer P. Dempsey; his grandson W. Connor Dempsey.
A celebration of life for Alton Parris will be Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. William Cain officiating. Entombment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers are Dennis Dempsey, Joseph Aguirre, Tony Parris, Miles Parris, Larry Brooks and "Moe" Chaney.
Alton was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County, he was employed at Lee Brass for a long time. He ministered at various churches before retiring.
