Alva Fleming Gulledge

Anniston – Graveside service for Mrs. Alva Fleming Gulledge, age 80, of Anniston will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Darrell Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gulledge passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Gulledge is survived by her daughter, Barbara Cash and husband Ross of Anniston; sisters, Shirley Russell of Weaver, Gail Bushard of Anniston; brothers, Larry Fleming of Anniston, Travis Fleming of Alexandria; grandchildren, Delaine and Tommy Wiggonton, Bethany and Abby Brunner; great-grandchildren, Aiden Brunner, Ashton Brunner, McKenzie Wiggonton, Elin Wiggonton.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Gulledge was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Guilledge.

Mrs. Gulledge was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. She attended Anniston High School and a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. She was retired from Region’s Bank of Anniston after 40 plus year of service.
