Memorial services for Alvin “Pug” Parris, 47, of Ohatchee, will be 2 pm Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Fairview Heights Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Bearden officiating. Mr. Parris went home on January 12, 2012.
Survivors include Wife, Melissa Standley Parris, two sons, Austin Parris (Faith) and Matthew Parris, three sisters, Kimberly Penland (Shane), Pam Yates (Don) and Norma Kritlow (Gary), three grandchildren, Jordan, Emily and Carly Cheatham, his dog, Jedda Bug, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Parris is preceded in death by his parents Alvin Sr. and Francis Parris and sister Tammy Phillips.
Arrangements under the direction of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, Anniston, Alabama.
