Visitation for Ms. Anna (Bonds) Bishop O’Dell of Anniston will be Saturday October 30, 2021 from 12 until 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1pm in the Chapel. Rev. Johnny Bonds will be officiating. Sharing memories will be great grandson, Tyler Mishanetz and granddaughter, April Eddins. Burial will be at Four Mile Cemetery in Anniston.
Ms. Anna (Bonds) Bishop O’Dell passed away October 26, 2021 at RMC in Anniston, Al at the age of 89. She was born on May 28, 1932 as the third child of Roscoe and Flora Mae Bonds. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughters, Debra Gay and Rita Fay Bishop; brothers, Charlie, Bobby and Virgil Bonds; Sisters, Sadie Bonds, Patricia Atkins and Carolyn Milstead; and son-in-law James Hanson.
Cherishing her love and honoring her memory are her daughters, Marcia (Mike) Tracy of Palatka, FL, Brenda Hanson of Tallapoosa, GA, Betty Bishop of Anniston; and son, Porter Bishop of Anniston, brother, Philip Bonds and sisters-in-law, Doris Bonds and Pat Bonds along with a host of nieces and nephews who loved their “Aunt Mandy”. Her love and legacy will be carried on by her grandchildren, which include April Eddins of Fleming Island, FL., Leslie (Steve) Smith of Palatka, FL, Arby “Chip” (Elaine) Bramlitt of Elgin, SC, Jamie (Chris) Armstrong of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Josh (Amanda) Hanson of Tallapoosa, GA, Brandon (Chasity) Kennedy of Whitesburg, TN and Clyde Yarbrough of Anniston AL. She leaves 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Ms. O’Dell was a life-long resident of Calhoun County and was retired from Anniston Sportswear. She was of Holiness faith.
The family wants to thank the ER staff and the Covid ICU staff at RMC, especially Robin and Jessica.
Pallbearers will be Don Lindsey, Chris Bivins, Stephen Bonds, Glenn Bonds and Perry Bonds and Russell Bonds.
