It was impossible not to fun around Butch. I'll always remember my daddy and Mom Butch and Peggy quite a few other folks, around a fire telling stories. The next morning my stomach actually was sore from the laughter.
He will be missed. much love to all.

So sorry to hear of the loss of this man. Peggy and family though we cannot be with you, our thoughts and prayers certainly are. Always a joyful and gentle spirit and I will always remember when he and Foyl would come at peanut season. Love you all.

Oh, how I remember Uncle Butch and Aunt Peggy at Third Sunday with Mom and Daddy! Such joy and laughter there was sitting in that hotel room, having toddies and watching all their kids and grandkids come and go from the pool and their own rooms! We all wanted to be in their room though listening to them tell stories. Uncle Butch was a man of few words but his giant heart and love for others shone through! Rest In Peace Uncle Butch. I love you all!

Peggy, Kim, Kelly and Kriss, it is with a heavy heart that I have to say I will be unable to attend and give my last respects to my cousin Butch. I am sending my love, heart and soul to you at this time as you deal with the loss of Butch. If I could physically be there I would, but at this time of my life, it is not something I can do. Hopefully this summer will be a healthier better time for me to travel and we can come to see the family.
God bless all the family as I treasure many good memories of Butch in past better times.
