Barbara’s life was her four grandsons and she felt like it was her job to make sure they were spoiled at every opportunity. As a father, we didn’t always see eye-to-eye in this matter.
Her way of telling you that she was going to win this argument was to pinch the soft skin on the back side of your arm with her nicely manicured fingernails!
I guess she knew sometimes situations didn’t need a lot of words to describe how you felt.
I love and miss you, Barbara.

Barbara, Kim Ponder and me played together practically every day in the 60's in East Gadsden. I've love the Day family my entire life. Barbara was kind and giving and the night seems a little darker tonight. I hope this amazing family finds peace and strength in knowing Barbara Jean was loved!

Barbara is my second cousin and one of the sweetest people I have ever known. No memories in particular, just sweet with a beautiful smile. I loved her dearly.
