Beatrice Burch White

Funeral services for Beatrice Sellers Burch White will be 11:00 am Monday, January 6, 2014 at Church on the Rock in Anniston, with Pastor Randy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Emeus Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman, AL. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00-7:00pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mrs. White passed away on January 3, 1014.

Mrs. White was born on September 2, 1923 to George and Fannie Sellers. She had 3 siblings, Ella, Jack and Lela. Both parents died in 1925 and she lived with her grandmother Sellers until she was 8 years old.

She then lived with James and Myrtle Burch and had 2 adopted sisters, Pat and Evelyn. She took the Burch name right before she married Hollis White in 1944 and had 5 children, Larry, Myra, Gary, Richard and Shelia.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis and daughter Myra. She leaves behind 4 children; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Beatrice was a member of Church on the Rock in Anniston, AL.
