Wellington - Funeral services for Benjamin Richard Prickett, 27 of Wellington will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Union United Methodist Church with Bro. Bucky Holsonback and Rev. Jerry Starling officiating. Mr. Prickett will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Mr. Prickett passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 in Rockford, AL. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Mona Prickett; brother, Sam Prickett and numerous aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be his family and friends. Mr. Prickett was a Brother of the Kappa Alpha Order at Jacksonville State University, a 2009 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and a 2014 graduate of Jacksonville State University Department of Applied Engineering. He loved farming, hunting, fishing and country music. "I’m not here for a long time; I’m here for a good time."
