Benny Mitchell

Benny is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mitchell; his daughter Dana Gray (Bryan); his sons Benny Dewayne Mitchell (Vicky); and Danny Mitchell (Jame); his grandchildren Jeremy Mitchell (Brittney), Jerod Ray Mitchell, Laramie Mitchell, Matthew Gray (Amanda), his nine great grandchild and one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Benny was preceded in death by his parents George and Alma Mitchell; his eleven siblings.

Funeral services for Benny will be Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. James Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Green Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are Dewayne Mitchell, Ricky Cole, Punkin Ford, William Mitchell, Jerry Dulaney and William Dulaney.

Benny loved his horses and cattle and also his tractor. He was a hard working man who retired from Lee Brass after 38 years of service.
