Betty J. Bass

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty J. Bass, 80, of Anniston, will be Friday, March 5th, 2021, 12:00 p.m., at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Bro. Ray Boswell officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Bass passed away on March 2nd, 2021.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Bass and his wife Tawana, Kerry Bass and his wife Tammy; grandchildren, Rebecca Howard and her husband Geoff, Kayla Kidd, Sara Kidd, Ali Michael Bass; great-grandchildren, Gracelynn Howard, Emmaleigh Howard, Joseph Brewer, Ellie Burchfield, Everly Burchfield, Langstyn Cole New-Bass, including a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bass is preceded in death by her parents, Wilber and Nina Alexander; husband, Jimmy Ray Bass; sons, Gary Wayne Bass and Malcolmn Eugene Bass.

Family and friends will have the honor of being pallbearers.

Betty was a loving soul. Her family and faith was the main ones. She was a fan of Elvis and was extremely patriotic. She also loved and cared for animals, especially her chihuahuas. Above all, she was dearly loved and will be missed extremely. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mohamad Ismail and his staff of Anniston for the care and love they bestowed upon Mrs. Betty.
