A Graveside Service for Ruth Hayes, 85 of Anniston will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery in Munford, Alabama with Rev. Larry Howard officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama.
Mrs. Hayes passed away November 30, 2017 at her residence in Anniston.
She is survived by her children, Roger Hayes and wife Kay, Diane Smith, Joyce Pointer and Patsy Moss; fifteen (15) grandchildren; thirty-nine (39) great-grandchildren; twelve (12) great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Chuck Holbrooks and wife Kitty and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hayes is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hayes; and sons, Billy Hayes and Jackie Hayes.
Pallbearers will be Dave Moss, Blade Smith, Blake Kilmore, Walker Hayes, Curt Moss and Dexter Hayes.
Mrs. Hayes was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was an amazing mother and grandmother to her children.
