Betty Maples

Funeral Services for Betty Hammond Maples, 85, of Anniston will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at Big Springs Baptist Church in Roanoke, Al. with Rev. Jerry Cole Officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Maples passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in Anniston.

Survivors include her daughter Melanie Williamson (Brandon), sons Terry Maples and Jeff Maples, sisters Patricia Cole (Jerry) and Kaye Wortham (Jacky), brothers Barry Hammond (Doris) and Vaxter Hammond, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Maples is preceded in death by her parents James and Louise Hammond, husband Floyd Maples and son Scott Maples.

Mrs. Maples was a native of Randolph County and a resident of Calhoun County. She was a graduate of Jacksonville State University.

In Lieu of Flowers memorial may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 401 Lenlock Lane, Anniston, Al. 36206.
