Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Mae Taylor of Ohatchee will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Ellis McDill officiating. Burial will follow at Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohatchee. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Taylor died Monday, September 6, 2010.
Survivors include her daughter, Regina Leeanne Turner of Alexandria; son, Ronald E. Howard of Anniston; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brent Powell, Kenyatta Lee, Larry Fondren, James Biddy, Virgil Howard and Johnny Howard.
Mrs. Taylor was a resident of Ohatchee most of her life, retired from McGuffey Healthcare Center and a member of Brannon Springs Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lee Taylor; sons, Joe Donald Howard and Allen G. Howard; and son-in-law, Michael T. Turner.
