

Lincoln – Funeral services for Mr. Billie E. Reaves, 84, of Lincoln will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Patton Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Shannon Caudle and Rev. Richie Ponder officiating with burial to follow at Patton Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Reaves passed on October 28, 2015 at his home in Lincoln.
Mr. Reaves is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Ann Reaves; daughters, Pamela Ann Reaves, and Emily Jean Reaves (John Wayne Kello); son, Tommy E. (Cindy) Reaves; sisters, Mattie Watkins, and Doris Howell; brother, Doug Reaves; grandchildren, Shellie Reages, Billy Reaves, Andrea Helms, Josh Reaves, Jessica Reaves, Jennifer Reaves, Jake Ford, Josh Ford, Jeremiah Ford-Taylor, Scooter Kello, and Anne Ellis; great-grandchildren, Riley McClain, Kayle McClain, Abby Jo Helms, Hannah Reaves, and Clay Dulaney.
Pallbearers will be Billy Reaves, David Helms, Josh Reaves, Jake Ford, Josh Ford, Jeremiah Taylor, Taylor Mitchell, and Mike Flegel. Honorary pallbearers will be Patton Chapel Men’s Sunday School Class, Harold Ford, Kenny Ray Ford, Leonard Johnson, Walter Reaves, and Billy McDill.
Mr. Reaves was preceded in death by his father, Oliver E. Reaves; mother, Winnie Reaves.
Mr. Reaves was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and was a member of Patton Chapel Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He graduated from Lincoln High School and was a Poultry Association Board Member, and a Honorary member of the FFA at Ohatchee High School.
