

Funeral service for Blanche Opal Burson Williams, 95, of Anniston will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Bob Prichard officiating. The family will have a private entombment at Forestlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born August 29, 1919 in Ephesus, Ga., she passed away peacefully Thursday, April 9, 2015 after suffering a massive stroke Wednesday at NHC Place. She joyfully joins her beloved husband of 60 years, Denzil G. Williams in heaven.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Williams and son-in-law, Luke Owen; granddaughter, Laryn Morgan Owen; great-granddaughter, Della-Mae Opal Armstrong; sisters-in-law, Ann Williams Wallace, of Roanoke and Sunny Williams, of Oxford; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Snead, Vance Moore, Chris Hopkins, Neill Brown, Rod Williams, David Chambers and Ric Chambers.
Mrs. Williams was a long time member of the Oxford Church of Christ. She married Denzil September 1, 1940 and they shared many wonderful times together until he passed in 2000. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Rainbow Omega, 100 Hope Dr., Eastaboga, AL 36260.
