Anniston– Memorial services for Bobby Jack Travis, 77 of Anniston will be Friday, January 11, 2013 at Golden Spring Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Family will accept friends from 1-2 p.m. at the church on Friday.
Mr. Travis Passed Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Anniston.
Mr. Travis is survived by his daughter, Kim (Dave) Knighton; son, Mickey (Jenel) Travis; step-daughter, Paula Pizarro; step-sons, John Winsor, Frank and Reed Webb; twelve grandchildren; one Nephew.
Mr. Travis served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Travis lived in Anniston for most of his life after retiring from the Derby Lane Dog Track in Florida for 25 years.
Mr. Travis is proceeded in death by his wife, Ann W. Travis.
