She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Malone and mother, Gladys Malone. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Lieutenant Colonel Harry E. Sutton, her son, Robert (Debbie) Sutton, daughters Jennifer (Rick) Wilcut and Stacy (Shannon) Strickland. Bonnie had an unwavering love for her family. She took immense pride in her grandchildren: Jessica (Sutton) Fultz, Noah Sutton, Savanna (Wilcut) Gerstel, Aden Strickland and Isabel Strickland. She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie (Marilyn) Malone.
Bonnie was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Alexandria where she served until her sickness. She enjoyed sewing and quilting projects as well as a variety of arts and crafts. She was a great hostess and cook to family and friends. Her love, wittiness and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
