Funeral services for Carol June Shoemaker, 76 of Anniston will be Sunday at 2:00 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. David Screws officiating, Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Shoemaker passed away Wednesday in Anniston.
Survivors include her daughter Lori Knightly, sons John Shoemaker, Steve Shoemaker (Virginia), Don Shoemaker (Tina), grandchildren Carol Reschke, Amanda Green, Rebecca Gray, Timothy Knightly, Spencer Shoemaker, Landon Shoemaker, Joshua Shoemaker, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, and special friends Elaine Hubbard and Pat Hanbcock.
Mrs. Shoemaker is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Shoemaker, daughter Carol Dobbs, grandson Tyler Shoemaker and son-in-law Timothy Knightly.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Shoemaker was born in Piedmont and was a resident of Anniston. She graduated Piedmont High School. She was employed with RMC for 38 years. She was a lifelong member of Welborn Christian Church and loved spending time with her family and friends.
