She is survived by her daughters, Stacy Odom (Thomas) and Laura Hartselle; granddaughter, T.J. Odom, Shawn Odom, Ryan Odom, Anthony Barnett, Heather Barnett, Jonathan Barnett and Holly Barnett; and Several great grandchildren; former husband Michael Slaper.
Ms. Slaper is preceded in death by parents; George Albert Berish and Irene Estelle Dizlak.
Ms. Slaper enjoyed crocheting quite a bit. She loved to talk to friends and family on the phone.
