Carolyn Louise Coleman
January 14, 1934 – June 22, 2018
Funeral service for Louise Coleman, 84, of Anniston will be at 11am on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Golden Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10am until service time at Golden Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Coleman passed away on Friday.
Survivors include her daughters, Wanda McKnight and Rhonda Green (Dennis); grandsons Casey McCollum (Tara), Cole Totton (Caroline), Jacob Alexander, Benjamin Alexander, and Nicholas Alexander; great-grandchildren Lainey McCollum, James McCollum, Allie Alexander and another great-granddaughter due in November; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Coleman is preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Winnie Davis Holley; daughter Stefanie Alexander Bailey; sister Mary Van Zant; and brothers Jimmy Holley and Jack Holley.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Coleman’s grandsons and Daniel Huckaby.
Mrs. Coleman was a member of Golden Springs Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a fantastic cook. She loved playing any sort of game and was the “Domino Queen.” She spent the last 4 years at Autumn Cove and loved her neighbors and church family. She enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
