Ceylon Munroe Munroe Hale

Funeral services for Ceylon Munroe Hale, 95 of Anniston will be Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at The Acker’s Chapel First United Methodist Church of Anniston with Rev. Peter Hawker officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Mrs. Hale passed away Sunday at her residence.

Survivors include daughter Connie Hale Brooks of Cincinnati, son Hugh Douglas Hale (Tracy) of Birmingham, grandchildren Will Brooks (Amanda)and Ashley Brooks.

Mrs. Hale is preceded in death by her husband Hugh C. Hale, sister Sibyl Munroe Posey, brothers J.W. Munroe and Buddy Munroe.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carre’ Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Hale was a native of Sylacauga and Ashland and a long time resident of Calhoun County. She was a graduate of Jacksonville State University and retired from the Anniston City School System. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Anniston, active bridge player and many Civic Clubs and Groups.
