Memorial service for Charles Veston “Bobby” Body, 67, of Anniston, will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Bishop Stephen Helms officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Body passed away Tuesday, April 5 at Stringfellow Hospital.
Survivors include daughter, Karen Helms and husband Stephen of Gadsden; son, David Body and wife Tracy of Ohatchee; grandchildren, Ryan Body, Kensley Williams, Cortney Thompson, Shanda Williams, Cressie Matthews, Elizabeth, Paul, Katlyn, Garrett and Nathan Helms;
sister, Jean Pugh of Anniston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Mattie Body and brother, James Body.
Mr. Body was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Anniston Army Depot. Mr. Body was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
