Charles "Chuck" W. Monday

Anniston - Funeral services for Mr. Charles W. “Chuck” Monday, 79 of Anniston will be Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Brown, and Rev. Jacob Brown officiating with private burial following at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The eulogy will be done by Leigh Anne Monday, Daughter-in-law. The family will receive friends from 12 noon till service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Monday passed away April 10, 2012.

Mr. Monday is survived by his fiancée, Charlotte Bigbee; daughter, Sonde Coleman; sons, Michael (Leigh Anne) Monday and Mark (Karen) Monday; brother, Bill (Melba) Monday; grandchildren, Morgan Whetstone, Madison and Mikey Monday; and special cat friend Callie.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Rogers, Mike Tyson, Mikey Monday, Shawn Taylor, Chet McClellen, and Brett Deboer. Honorary pallbearers will be servicemen of Monday’s Pest Control, Rick Burgess, Keith Pinkard, Albert Pinkard, and Clyde Watts.

Mr. Monday was a native of Tennessee and a resident of Anniston. He was the owner and founder of Monday’s Pest Control, Inc., an avid Tennessee Vols fan, member of the National and Alabama Pest Control Association, member of the VFW, a member of First Christian Church of Anniston, and served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Monday is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann Monday.

In lieu of flowers family request donations are to be made to the American Cancer Society.
