Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Charlotte Paris, 82 of Anniston, were held on Sunday, November 17th 2019 at Parker Memorial Baptist with Dr. Mack Amis officiating. Burial was held at Forestlawn Gardens.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack L. Paris; son, Brian L. Paris and his wife Susan Silvers Paris; granddaughter, Greta Webb Paris; cousins, Willene Moody, Ellene Cleveland, Kevin Moody, Larry Moody, Carol Cleveland, and Barry Turman.
She is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Todd Paris; parents, Charles Conrad "Red" and Nancy Pearleen Webb; cousin, Max Brannon; aunt, Effie Irvin Causey aunt, Lena Irvin Brannon, uncle, Winfred Irvin, and her grandmother, Ella Irvin.
Pallbearers were Thomas Sharp, Larry Daniel, Eddie Daurelle, Mike Chamlee, Stan Jones, and Andre Ladeau.
Mrs. Paris was a graduate of Anniston High School, Class of 1955. She then graduated from Samford University, Class of 1959 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She lastly retired as a high school teacher from the Oxford School System. She was an accomplished pianist, oil and acrylic painter, and a ceramics artist. She was a staff pianist with several churches in the Anniston area for many decades. She and her husband Jack were regular fixtures in many music ministry settings in the Anniston area. She leaves this world with an abundance of dear friends and will be missed by many.
