Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Yvonne Parris, 75, of Ohatchee, will be Saturday, May 8th, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Alexandria Valley Church of God, with Dr. Byron Duke and Bro. Charles "Chuck" Hornyak officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery on Peeks Hill. The family will welcome friends Friday, May 7th, 2021, 5-7 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Parris passed away on May 5th, 2021.
She is survived by her son, Shane Parris and his wife Kim; daughter, Shannon Ford and her husband Rodney; brother, Carlton McCombs and his wife Donna; grandchildren, Colby Parris and his wife Summer, Jarrett Ford; great-grandchildren, Hartlee Parris and Kanaan Parris; sister-in-law, Marion McCombs, including a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parris is preceded in death by her parents, Audell and Lillian McCombs; her husband, Wayne Parris; brothers, Larry McCombs and Rodney McCombs; sisters, Judi McCombs and Rhetta Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Colby Parris, Jarrett Ford, Brian Clements, Hunter Clements, Garrett Young, and Dax McCombs.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jarrett Dover, Chad Clements, Alvin Mickler, and Chad Mickler.
Charlotte was a Registered Nurse at RMC of Anniston for 45 years. She was a Certified Diabetes Educator and CPR Instructor among other numerous medical specialties. She loved her family fiercely and she touched so many people's hearts in her life. Everybody's life was better with her being apart of it. She was an amazing and genuine God fearing Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. She had such an angelic voice with a beautiful soul. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist all her life and was a die hard Auburn football fan. She was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her.
