Buddy is survived by his wife, Phyllis D. Jones; his daughters, Jennifer Sherbett (Patrick); Sharon Prickett (Shane) and Wendy Patterson; his sisters Carolyn Lucas and Judy Thomas (Kenneth); his grandchildren Colby Sherbett Olivia Sherbett, Hunter Perez and Cody Perez, and several nieces and nephews.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents Ira and Ola Jones.
A visitation for Buddy will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 542 W 52nd St, Anniston, Alabama 36206. A graveside will occur Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Maple Grove, Alexandria, AL. with Rev. Phil Winningham officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Buddy was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He retired from Pelham Range and served 35 years in the Army National Guard. He also worked for the Calhoun County Environmental Services. He was a member of Saks Baptist Church and VFW Post 155.
