Funeral services for SFC Clement Gene McCauley, 75, of Anniston, will be 1 pm Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Phillip Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. McCauley died Friday at RMC.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey McCauley of Anniston, three daughters, Cathy Johnston of Oxford, Rita Lent of Bronx, NY and Vickie McCauley of Anniston, three grandchildren, Stephen Johnston, Zac McCauley and Caleb McCauley, three great grandchildren, Devon Johnston, Landon Johnston and Zane Johnston, one sister, Rita Huver of Dorr, MI and one brother, Ed McCauley of Mammoth, AZ.
Pallbearers will be Military.
Mr. McCauley was a native of Cheboygan, MI and a resident of Anniston since 1959. He retired from the U.S. army after 20 years of service serving two tours in Vietnam. Mr. McCauley also retired from the Anniston Army Depot after 27 years of service.
