Funeral service for Danny H. Evans, 65 will be 1:00 pm, Friday, December 17, 2015, at Gray Brown-Service. Entombment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include his brothers, Sam John Evans Jr., and David L. Evans; sister-in-law, Linda Evans; ex-wives, Brenda Bentley and Joyce Evans; niece, Tangie Evans; and nephew, Robert Wade Evans.
Mr. Evans is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Evans and Stan Evans.
Mr. Evans was a graduate of the sheriff academy. He worked has a police officer in Ragland and Roanoke.
