Anniston – Graveside Service for Mr. David Mancel Gibbs, 76 of Anniston will be at 11 a..m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Monday 9am to 10:30 prior to the service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Mr. Gibbs passed away October 31, 2014 at RMC in Anniston.
Mr. Gibbs is survived by his wife, Margie Gibbs; son, Keith (Kelley) Gibbs of Roanoke, Vance (Rebecca) Parris of Southside and Lance Parris of Talladega; sisters, Loretta Sloan of Hokes Bluff, Mary Sue McCray of Altoona, Belinda (Rick) Faulkner of Cleveland; Brothers, Vernell (Mary Kate) Gibbs of Altoona, Tommy (Martha) Gibbs of Altoona, 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by his Parents.
Pallbearers will be Members of the 225th CBCS.
Mr. Gibbs served in the Alabama Air National Guard for 41 years and worked with the Guards for 23 years as a service technician.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to a St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
