Dearest Amber, Cody & the rest of the Ray Family,
     I debated on going to the funeral today, but in my heart of hearts, I just didn't want to remember him that way.   I prefer to remember him as a remarkable co-worker and friend, whom now in writing this I miss even more.  In person David was a very private man, well liked and even loved by those  who knew him best.  Last time I saw him was in SMH last year as we will both in at the same time.  I walked down to his room every day to see him while I was there.  His humor and spirit never changed, and is one-liners are now the stuff of legends.  To Cody & Amber, you were the shinning stars in your paw-paw's life.  When we worked together he posted any accomplishment that ever ended up on the paper on our office wall.  And we always knew every thing going on in you kid's lives.  A great man, he will be missed as we wait on the day we will all be united once again.  You will be kept in my prayers, sending as much love I can to you all.  Thanks for all the memories, David, til we meet again!!!!!   Tina.

We often only have one father in our lives, I was blessed in my lifetime to have 2 wonderful men to call Dad. It is hard to lose 1 daddy, now I have lost 2. David, I will miss you very much, words can not express the pain I fill within my heart. I will miss hearing your voice on the phone, and seeing your smile when me and the kids walk in the room.
